Reunion of the legal committee of OIEC

The 7 February the legal committee of OIEC met in London at the premises of the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of England and Wales. On request of the executive Council the committee currently works on two topics: on one hand the situation of OIEC regarding the canon law and on the other hand the relation between “regions” as they are foreseen by the statutes of OIEC. The committee must prepare mainly a report on this last subject for the next executive council. Thanks to the precious help of the national responsible of the catholic schools of Great Britain and Wales, Paul Barber, the committee can access very interesting archives concerning the history of the relations of the regions, especially with CIEC. These archives allow to better understand the history of the relations of OIEC with the regions.
