Reunion of the platform ETINED

“In April 2013, the Ministers of Education of the 50 States Parties to the European Cultural Convention agreed through the Helsinki Ministerial Declaration to work together on ethics, transparency and integrity in education, for the mutual benefit of all European children, and to set up a Platform to do so.” (Source: https://www.coe.int/en/web/ethics-transparency-integrity-in-education/about-etined). With the status of observer at the European Council the Holy See has a seat in this platform. This is all the more interesting since with 250 catholic universities and more than 210.000 schools in the world the Church cannot be missing in such a debate. The Holy See has asked OIEC to represent it in this platform. The results and recommendations of this platform which apply in Europe but can affect the whole world will be shared in our network. During the meeting of February 2018, the platform addressed the questions of corruption and deceit in education.
