COLLABORATIONS

GLOBAL CATHOLIC EDUCATION NETWORK

The OIEC forms with the International Federation of Catholic Universities (IFCU), the World Organization of Catholic Education Alumni (OMAEC) and the World Union of Catholic Teachers (UMEC), the global network of Catholic education.

Global Catholic Education informs and connects Catholic educators around the world. It provides them with data, analysis, learning opportunities and other resources to help them fulfill their mission with a particular focus on the needs and aspirations of the poorest and most vulnerable.

G.R.A.C.E.

G.R.A.C.E. (Global Researchers Advancing Catholic Education) is a research-based international partnership between Mary Immaculate College Limerick in Ireland, Boston College in the United States, the University of Notre Dame in Australia, Saint Mary’s University Twickenham in the UK and OIEC in Rome. G.R.A.C.E. offers academics the opportunity to collaborate in the analysis of the challenges and opportunities facing Catholic schools.

OIEC – GPEN REFORMATION THINK TANK

OIEC and GPEN (Global Pedagogical Network – https://www.gpenreformation.net/) have set up a think tank in which Catholics and Protestants discuss common issues regarding schools and Christian education. He works on a paper that allows Catholic and Protestant schools to work better together, and especially within international organizations.

A first document is “CHRISTIAN SCHOOLS AND THE FUTURE OF EDUCATION: A Contribution to UNESCO’s Commission on Future of Education” by the International Office of Catholic Education and the World Pedagogical Network – Joining in Reformation: OIEC-GPENR contribution
