Yesterday evening, a major earthquake struck the province of Al Haouz in Morocco, killing more than a thousand people in the provinces and prefectures of Al Haouz, Marrakech, Ouarzazate, Azilal, Chichaoua and Taroudant. From 4-7 September 2022 the NCEC (National Catholic Education Commission) held the National Catholic Education Conference 2022 in Melbourne, Australia. The 1400 attendees enjoyed an event full of energy and dynamism. The NCEC represents the catholic schools in Australia which correspond to 60% of the schools in the country or 770,000 pupils in more than 2,000 schools.
On 19 August 2022 took place at Louvain la Neuve in Belgium the Summer University of the Segec (the General Secretariat of Catholic Education in the French-speaking part of Belgium). During this event, the SeGec presented its new educational project “MISSION OF THE CHRISTIAN SCHOOL”.
