ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE
The General Assembly
Composed of all the constituent and associate members, it is the supreme body of the Office. It meets every four years.

The Secretary General
Elected by the General Assembly, he organises and directs the General Secretariat, the executive body of the Office. He coordinates and stimulates the activities of the Regional Secretariats and the Permanent Representations. He represents the Office in its external relations.

The Regional Secretaries
Their objective is to motivate the Office’s activities at regional level. The regions are Africa, with headquarters in Yaoundé (Cameroon); the Americas, with headquarters in Bogotá (Colombia); Asia and Oceania, with headquarters in New Delhi (India); Europe, with headquarters in Brussels (Belgium) and the Near and Middle East, with headquarters in Beirut (Lebanon).

The Council
It consists of 30 deliberative members, representing all regions, and is elected by the General Assembly. The Council elects its President and Vice-Presidents. As a body for reflection and deliberation, it ensures that the decisions of the General Assembly are implemented. It meets once a year.
